Join us for a three-night Tribute & chance to meet IN PERSON one of the most recognizable actors working in Latin America today!

Damián Alcázar, the star of Narcos, La Dictadura Perfecta and La Delgada Linea Amarilla will be joining us from March 18 to 20, as we screen the biggest hits from his filmography.

Damián Alcázar was born in Patzcuaro, Michoacan Mexico on January 8th, 1953. He’s recognized as one of the most prestigious actors of contemporary Mexican cinema. Alcazar studied acting at the Mexican National Institute of Fine Arts and at the Theatrical Experimentation Center. His filmography includes: La Dictadura Perfecta, Narcos, The Chronicles of Narnia; Prince Caspian, El infierno, Magallanes, Eddie Reynolds y Los Ángeles de Acero, La Ley de Herodes, and Miss Bala. Alcázar has won multiple awards, including several Ariel Awards; Best Actor at the Cartagena Film Festival, and the Árbol de la Vida Award at the Guadalajara International Film Festival in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Alcázar will be IN PERSON for each of the film screenings. The San Diego Latino Film Festival is honored to celebrate Mr. Alcázar’s filmography with our three night tribute.

The film co-stars Gustavo Sánchez Parra, Joaquín Cosio, and Fernando Becerril, and won three of the top awards at The Guadalajara International Film Festival, including the Audience Award.
